The Ozark School Board of Education has double-fun for you this week!
On Monday, November 17, 2025 will be a Board work session, beginning at 8:30am at the District Office, 1600 W. Jackson St. (enter on the north side of the building.) These work sessions are no longer livestreamed, unfortunately, but they are generally open meetings, and anyone who wants to attend can certainly do so in person. Sometimes, the Board will vote to enter closed session, a part of the meeting which is not open to the public due to a very specific, limited list of items (per Missouri State Law; see more on that from our state Attorney General’s office at https://ago.mo.gov/wp-content/uploads/SW_Sunshine-Law-Handbook-CH.pdf ), but you are certainly invited to attend the open session part of any meeting. The work sessions are, in my opinion, some of the best meetings because the Board often gets to hear from different departments and also discuss – and sometimes even brainstorm – with the administration about ways to keep Ozark Schools the best, reaching the most students and helping them continue their drive for excellence and to develop their fullest potential!
Then, Tuesday, November 18 is the regular monthly meeting of the Board at 7pm at the OIC (that entrance is on the east end of the building.)
The agenda (with Zoom links for the regular meetings) is linked on the “School Board” tab on the District website at https://www.ozarktigers.org/school-board Board members’ contact information is located at that same site, so please feel free to contact us that way to share your input or to ask questions.
As always, I look forward to seeing and hearing from you! 🙂
As a reminder, what I speak and write represents solely my personal views,
and I do not intend to represent the Board to you in any post or comment.
I do, however, fully intend to represent YOU to the Board!
